Chapter 17. Alpha Ansel
One by one, the Slaves and Omegas disappear to the dungeons below. They were silent like lambs being escorted by their shepherd back to their cage.
And it includes Sasha, of course.
He walked briskly towards them, fast and subtle when a hand shot at his left shoulder. Heavy and intimidating. “We should talk, Ansel.”
Ansel growled with burning fury and flaming rage and sizzling anger. He could kill him by what he did to Sasha. He could whip him like how Cal used to do to him. But he remained calm, blocking his emotions from clouding his judgment. “So brave of you to call me candidly by my first name, Alpha.” Alpha. The title tastes sour in his tongue. No, not sour. Bitter.
But Alain ignored his statement. Instead, he urged him to follow him beyond the tall green grasses. Fresh blood trickled in his leg when he shifted to face Alain. The grasses were still sharp like a hunter’s blade after all. “What is it?”
“Cal is dead now.”
