Chapter 25. Delicious Dreams
Sasha could no longer recount when was the last time she’d eaten—nor has drank a cup of fresh cool water.
She doesn’t even know how many days have passed or was this Alpha Alain’s “Three Days of Torture Challenge” has extended into a week. Or a month.
Sasha certainly hopes it’s not.
As she forced her eyes to open, eyelashes fluttering like fragile butterfly wings, she stretched her arms as she awakened to the sun’s golden light bathing the cell, thanks to a small square opening that hovered above them.
If it is morning or near-twilight, she doesn’t know. All she knows is that the sun is not telling them anything of their fate. And it looks like it was mocking them.
