“Is there something that made you believe your mother is the dark witch?” he raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, when Denver taught me extracorporeal magic...” I replied carefully, seeing his expression change as I pronounced the wizard's name. “I saw two women fighting, and Philippa, my mother, was there, her eyes consumed by darkness.”

“Hybrid, if your mother is the dark witch, there are more reasons to confront her,” he said, finally, with coldness.
