Chapter 21. Overflowing Hearts

Five days in which Theo and I are apart. I wouldn't say we're fighting, but we're physically and even emotionally separated. I know he loves me, just as I love him, but in the last five days, our contact has been minimal.

During these days, everyone is very busy. Camp activities are varied and always in different groups. I've had moments with Juno, Maria, and Yuri in different spaces. We've been to the lake, the clearing, the waterfall, and ventured into the woods on a hike that left me exhausted.

Today started strangely. It was very cold, and the sun seemed lazy, hiding among the clouds. I stepped out of the trailer wearing a gray sweatshirt and sat under one of the trees. The silence was absolute, and I could perfectly hear my heart beating in my chest.
