The sun was already setting when my phone rang, but I couldn't answer. The vibration in my pocket was insistent, but the words of the man in front of me would secure my future, so I forced myself to pay attention to his words again.

'Can we count on you, Mr. Juliano?' The gray-haired man with an elegant posture looked at me with a smile.

'Of course, sir. It will be a pleasure to work with you.' I said, feeling proud. I had wanted an internship position in this company for a long time, but I never dreamed I would work here as a renowned professional. The years at accounting college were tough, but now I could see that all the effort was worth it.

'With your impeccable record, the recommendation from your professor, and your willingness to work, I'm sure you will thrive in this company. Can I expect you on Monday?'

'Certainly, sir. Thank you for the opportunity.' I said as I shook his hand.
