Kalla's POV

I accepted his proposal. I embraced the tiniest hope of feeling a little freedom again.

I embraced the ability to shape shift into a full bird. A form of a bird that will reflect my personality.

I was not surprised when my whole body was filled with white feathers; only its shining tail I liked more, as if every time I fly it gives direction to the wind.

But changing form only has a limited time; I can't stay in this form for more than an hour because my body will be locked in it forever.

I also tried to change form outside the tower, and as soon as I did so, the tower violently swallowed me back, regardless of the trees and rocks hitting my body.
