Kalla's POV
"Bottom of the tower."
I didn't bother to light up the churches we were passing because we wouldn't be staying long.
The bottom of the tower is already filled with water, and there is a long stone path to go to the room that is filled with books.
"Where is this water coming from?"
"In the bath, the flow of water doesn't stop. But don't worry; it only reaches the appropriate height. It never overflows; it's like magic." I explain.
"This place is so familiar."
"You've been here?"
"Maybe inside my illu—" he stopped what he was going to say.
"Can I see the bathroom?"
When I frowned, he spoke quickly.
"I want to use it; maybe tomorrow? I need to freshen up."
"Follow me,"
As soon as I opened the door, I almost closed my eyes at how cheap it was.
"Shit! K-Kalla, it's y--"
He was behind me, and when I turned to him, his fangs were out and his eyes were burning.
"Are you thirsty?"
