Kalla's POV
Ever since the handsome magician came to my tower, I have been flying in bird form.
I need to make myself full because it takes blood from me to keep it alive and breathing.
Compared to me and the other vampires, it was more thirsty. I still remember that I was able to cope without drinking blood for several months. But this mage looks like he's always going to lose his life.
His words are the most heart-tugging statements I've ever heard. Every time she uttered a word, I was slapped with a conscience that said I was a heartless woman for letting a lowly mage thirst to his death.
