Kalla's POV

Now I fully realized that my admiration for the Gazellian King was far from over. He's a good leader and a father.

It just hurts to think that he left this world so early.

I've immersed myself in reading for weeks, but I still can't figure out the answer. I want to tell Finn everything I know, but I'm afraid we might argue again.

I visit when he is sleeping; I make sure of it because I ask the soldiers.

I was currently holding the lamp, and I was on my way to his prison. The king had told him that he could go out and move about as before, but he stood by everything he said.

The soldiers nodded at me when I arrived, which meant the mage was positively asleep. To this day, I'm still shaken by what Finn tells me.

But it's still a question of where he came from and why the other vampires are chasing him.

When I opened his cage, he barely moved as he lay on the long chair. I stopped walking while observing his movements.
