Chapter 51. Meet Again?

Tyler and Bertha greeted me after a short flight back to New York. Bertha's baby bump grew larger during my absence. Tyler assisted me with all of my belongings before we went to my apartment. It's close to the university, so I can easily go back and forth to gather my lecture notes, and it's much easier for me to get into my job at the boutique I'll eventually leave. I've been thinking about it recently, and I've decided to leave José's boutique shop in order to protect its reputation from the negative publicity I've received.

I don't want to tarnish the boutique's reputation in front of others. I just want it to be as good as possible.

The entire ride to my apartment was pleasant and felt distant. I'm still trying to figure out what's going on, but when I noticed Tyler's hand wasn't on Bertha's tummy, I knew. They're fighting.
