Chapter 63
Apollo POV
I notice the tick of his jaw and the clenching of his fists. I know Ares is pissed, and if we were anywhere else, he would come for me. Us, being here at the school, is keeping him off me. It’s temporary, but I’ll take it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not afraid of Ares. We’ve been at it many times in our lives, both as children and adults. We go hit for hit without either of us being the victor. I don’t really care about fighting with him; I just don’t want to go through that right now. “I should be asking you that. I take classes here, so what’s your excuse?”
“I take classes online through this school, too, so there’s nothing wrong with me being here. When I left home, you were doing something with father, so when did that change?” I watch as his eyes glaze over, and I know he’s talking to his wolf.
