I didn’t follow Chace’s story closely because I was focused on my iPad, searching to see if there were any documentaries featuring an artist with a mysterious background and life. So far, I hadn’t found any. I hadn’t seen a documentary that wasn’t about a crime but had an investigatory style. Therefore, I thought that if I suggested an investigatory approach to this project, they might like it since it’s somewhat unique.
Even though I was busy searching on my iPad, I did catch parts of Chace’s story… He mentioned that ever since he was young, when he first saw Kristina’s painting “Labyrinth,” he was immediately curious about the painting and the artist. He also shared that his thesis was about Kristina and other underrated artists in Denzia. He said that his grandfather had preserved Kristina’s belongings because his great-great-grandfather owned the place where Kristina used to paint. His great-great-grandfather was also the one who painted Kristina.
