Chapter 145. I Miss the Present Time

For a few seconds, my feet were glued to where I stood because I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I couldn’t believe that Zac… I mean Zac in this first life of ours whose name I don’t know yet, was here in front of me. He had turned away and was walking away from me, escorted by two muscular men because I had accused him of being a thief.
“Misters, it’s… it’s okay… I’m okay. I’m… I’m sorry for the inconvenience I caused…” I awkwardly smiled at these two muscular guys in front of me.
Both of them rolled their eyes and shook their heads at me. They whispered something I couldn’t quite catch… but I was sure it was them complaining about me yelling that I was being robbed even though I wasn’t. Their words were somewhat deep, so I didn’t really pay attention.
Aside from their quiet complaints, I also heard comments from other people on the street who witnessed what had happened.
