“What do you prefer? Radio… or… or do you want to connect your phone so you can play your own playlist?” Tate suddenly asked me, interrupting my gaze out the car window, so I turned to look at him.
“How about… your CDs? Don’t you have copies of your CDs here?” I was about to search through his car compartments, but then I saw him shake his head and say, “No… no CDs here. And… and if I were to keep CDs in the car, I don’t think I’d keep my own.” He laughed a bit.
I stopped myself from rummaging through his stuff because of what he said, and I looked at Tate with a slight frown and a raised eyebrow.
“Why not? Don’t you play the songs you’ve written in your own car?” I asked, raising my eyebrow further. “Aren’t you proud of your self-written songs? If I were you, I’d play my own music 24/7… that’s how proud I’d be!”
