Before the three of us parted ways after leaving the note on Von’s door and knocking loudly, I turned to Ashton, taking a deep breath to steady myself. I explained the details I remembered from his May 24 diary entry from the present timeline, speaking carefully but with urgency.
I gestured with my hands as I spoke. “You had a lab experiment that day,” I began, pointing toward Ashton for emphasis. “One of your blockmates accidentally spilled a chemical on themselves, and they were rushed to the university clinic immediately. Because of that, your class ended early, and we ended up going home together. Even though you were supposed to leave later in the afternoon.”
Dylan crossed his arms, leaning slightly toward me. “I’ll just skip class so I can join you and help chase that stalker,” he said, his voice firm but laced with concern. Then he glanced away briefly, muttering with a sigh, “I just really hope it’s the stalker…”
