If the movie we were watching right now had been a mystery or some genre that requires a lot of attention-to-detail and focus, I would’ve understood absolutely nothing. Thankfully, it was a romantic comedy—light and straightforward, requiring zero brainpower to follow the plot. Otherwise, I’d have felt like my money had been completely wasted.
How could I possibly focus on the movie, though, when Zac was being such a distraction? My god… the way his hand would move closer to mine resting on the armrest, inching closer to my left hand since he was seated on my left side. The way he leaned in toward me while seated, his shoulder lightly brushing mine. The soft whispers of his side comments directly into my ear, his breath warm and tickling. And oh, the way he’d glance at me during funny scenes, like he was gauging my reaction, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
