Chapter 413. Move On and Move Forward

I came across a post on my FaceGram news feed the other day. I couldn’t recall the exact words, but the saying went something like this: When your story with someone has truly ended, and you’ve sworn to yourself that you don’t want to see them again, the universe will ensure that your paths never cross again.
As painful as it was for me, I started to accept that this might be what was happening between Tate and me now. The reason we hadn’t run into each other for a week already might be because Lee and I had promised ourselves that we wouldn’t think about Tate or Zac anymore. That we would truly move on. We vowed to move forward with our lives without dwelling on the past, the events of our previous lives, or the two of them. We even resolved to avoid any situation where we might encounter them.
And so, a week passed. Neither Lee nor I had seen either of them.
