Eriane’s POV

The day ended in a way I did not expect it to go. It gave me a chance to bond with his friends and eventually get comfortable around them. I could even say that I was now more comfortable with them than when I was alone with CJ. That person was really just unpredictable. There were times when he was jolly and always smiling, but then he suddenly became his usual self again — a cold person.

I could not even think of how my life would change in the next few days or weeks. My friends would also probably notice, and I eventually had to tell them about my situation.

It was already time to go back to school. The weekend just passed without me even noticing it. I still had a few school assignments that I had not yet done, so I had to move quickly to get to the classroom immediately.
