Chapter 17

'I will pick you up by eight tonight.'

Elizabeth could not stay focused at work today as the last message she received from Mathew filled her head. She didn't know if she should call it a date or not but she was happy that they would get to see each other after a week.

She had decided to go out I stead of waiting for the day she'd get an off so she could have dinner with him. She was never one to make first move when it comes to matters of the heart. She felt Mathew like her in the same way she does because he asked if she was free today when she reminded him of the dinner plans they had.

She prayed for the day to move faster but instead the day went by playfully slow that she almost choked. Anytime she had free moments in the hospital, she would imagine the perfect outfit for the night. She contemplated earlier if she should ask the location so as to know what to wear but she went against that as she didn't want to come out desperate.
