Chapter 101. He Found the Journal

The weekends rolled around pretty quick and soon enough, Roxanne was packing for her trip towards her family house. She had just finished stuffing the needful into her back when her door bell rang.

She paused for a second to wonder who it could be. Iris was out of the picture since she had gone clubbing in Ohio and Colton wasn’t really one to just stop by her place.

Suddenly, she remembered Claude’s words about how he said he’d give her some time to think for a few days. And now, thinking this he might be the one by the door made Roxanne’s face scrunch up in obvious disgust.

She didn’t want to see him now and have him ruin her day before it even begun.

The sound of her door bell going off once more propelled Roxanne to move from where she stood, pondering. She groaned out slightly as she walked down her stairs, chanting the words, “I’m coming!” In hopes that whoever was at the door would hear her and stop ringing her door bell.
