Roxanne hesitated for a bit, but she eventually flattered and stepped away. “Come in before I change my mind.” She said as she opened the door further, inviting him inside.
Claude had one of his usual smiles on his lips as he walked into Roxanne house. As she closed the door behind him, he surveyed his surrounding, feeling a strange air of familiarity waft through the air.
“I don’t have forever, “ Roxanne spoke, the sound of her voice drawing him out from the tour his eyes were taking around her living room. “So let’s get straight to the point and talk.” She finished off as she sank back into the chair she had been working in.
Claude’s eyes scanned the papers scattered around the table as he moved and elegantly sat down in the couch opposite her.
