Chapter 54. The Start of Her Doomsday

Roxanne’s eyes twitched slightly as they took in the figure of Amber standing at the end of the bed she sat on.

“You’re up. Glad to know the dose I used on you wasn’t too much.”

“Amber,” Roxanne uttered listlessly. Her voice was low and almost lifeless, but the blonde knew it wasn’t because of fear or emotions akin to that, but rather because she hadn’t drank liquid in a while and her throat was itchy.

“Ah, I’m so glad that you still remember my name.” Amber chuckled as she walked over to Roxanne, standing right beside Roxanne who was on the bed. “And here I thought you forgot your old pal after all the fun we’ve had together.”

Amber’s smile on her face grew as she spoke, but her eyes were serious and alert. She was wearing a sleeveless white dress shirt, but it wasn’t buttoned and it was open enough for her ample cleavage to be shown. On top of her shirt was a black vest, but it was unbuttoned as well and her curvy waist was visible. Her hips were hugged by
