Chapter 87. Sweet Words After Steamy Sex

Night had fallen quickly after Henry’s visit. Roxanne remained at Lance's penthouse and accompanied him to finish a few of his works.

After cooking and having dinner, she washed up and borrowed yet another of Lance’s dresses before allowing herself collapse onto the comfortable mattress.

However, instead of falling asleep, her mind began to reel with thoughts. She turned onto her side and folded up as she thought of what and what Henry had said.

Out of everything that had been said today, the one thing that still seemed to disturb her was the matter with Penelope.

She was currently Lance’s Fiance, the person whom Lance is meant to get married to even though he doesn’t have any feeling for her.

Although Henry had told them that he was going to take care of things to his best abilities, Roxanne still didn’t feel at ease. Probably because of the father son tension that always hung in the air each time Lance and Henry were in the same room.
