Chapter 88. Plans For a Date

The next morning, while Lance and Roxanne were still sleeping in the comfort of each other’s arms, they were suddenly awoken by the sound of someone banging on the front door.

The sound jolted them both awake, mostly Roxanne who has always been alert when it comes to sleeping. She looked around rubbing her eyes, wondering who the mad person banging against the door could be.

The banging continued as she turned over and shook Lance fully awake.

“Someone’s here, come on.” She said and slid out of bed. Lance followed her with a frustrated grown.

Why were his mornings starting out like this? Couldn’t he just enjoy his time with Roxanne?

As both Roxanne and Lance slipped on their dresses, the latter couldn’t help having a scowl etched into the morning features of his face. Once they were each done, they both walked out of the room to hear someone yelling from the other end.
