Chapter 95. Ruined Date

Lance watched as Penelope gathered herself and stood up from the floor. She then pointed a hand in his way and affirmed.

“All these things you’re doing, you’d come to regret them and when that time comes, you’d come crawling back to me, High and mighty son of the Laurent family.”

“Sir, shall I go after her?” Kelvin asked as they both watched Penelope saunter back to her vehicle, dragging her driver along.

“No.” Lance dismissed the idea. “I think that’s enough warning for now.” He told me.

Kelvin nodded his head and retreated. Lance got into his car and decided to drive back to his company. Along the way, his thoughts were clouded with what Penelope said. Not because he was afraid of the consequences, but because he worried about what Penelope and her family would do against Roxanne.

Lance slammed his palm on his steering wheel. Just Great! As if he didn’t already have amber to worry about, now he has to keep an eye on two unhinged knuckleheads.
