After chatting and snacking, I texted Vince to see if we could meet up, but he said he had an urgent matter to attend to. So, I decided to head home. As we walked to my house, I tried talking to Bruce since he had been quiet and still.

“Please, Bruce, just be happy for me. I know Vince loves me,” I said, smiling at him.

He simply nodded and waved me off. I went inside and sat in the kitchen. When Nanny Lily saw me, she started preparing food for me.

“Are you feeling sad, Simoune?” Nanny Lily asked.

“No, Nanny. I’m happy, but why do I still feel sad?” I said.

“No matter what you’re going through, you have to remember that if you’re happy, it doesn’t mean you’re on the right path, and if you’re sad, you’re on the wrong path. You just have to wait for the right time, place, and situation,” Nanny Lily said.
