I went to Nanny Lily’s room after waiting for Vince to leave and delivered the flowers I had brought her.

“Wow, thanks for this, Simoune,” said Nanny Lily.

“That’s nothing; I’m aware that you have no living relatives and that only my father and I are at your side in life. Thank you, Nanny Lily,” I said.

We gave each other hugs. After speaking with Nanny Lily, I went up to the bedroom and lay down on the bed. Vince texted me right away.

“I’m home, darling. Go to bed. I was so tired from the trip. Goodnight,” Vince texted.

“I love you and am going to bed as well. Goodnight, my love,” I said.

“I love you too, rest well,” Vince said.

I responded to Vince and promptly fell asleep, possibly from tiredness.
