I didn’t want to join their conversation, so I just listened to their rambling.

“Daddy might arrive next week. I hope both of you will come to our house,” Simoune said.

“Well, Tito should invite us,” Lucy said.

“Of course, there’s always a catch,” Simoune said.

“Well, Tito always has something going on, but you don’t notice because you don’t like him,” Lucy said to Simoune.

“So now you want him to come home just to meet Vince?” asked Lucy.

“Of course, I want him to know Vince in some way,” Simoune said.

I wished Tito had come home because I knew she would just be scolded because she answered Vince so quickly.
