Chapter 196. To Be Forgiven

Maddie followed the man until they were in his office. She sat down where she had sat the last time and watched the man head behind his desk, sitting down.

The place was quiet and there was something g like incense burning that made the room smell strangely good.

It was not a smell that the omega was accustomed to but it was not a bad one. It was something she could get used to. 

“So, Maddie…” The man broke the silence. “You don’t have an appointment today, but you’re here. It’s obvious because something happened, right?”

“I see we’re getting straight to it,” She chuckled as she adjusted herself in her seat. 

“Or do you just want us to sit in silence for the next hour? Trust me, if that is what you want; if that is what is going to help you right now, we can do just that.” He shrugged lightly.

Maddie swallowed while shaking her head. She did not do that, she had come here to talk. She just wanted to be careful of what she said before she ended
