Chapter 217. Chauffeur

It was now the next morning and Maddie woke up to the alarm going off. Her head felt a bit heavy and her vision was blurred when she opened her eyes, but it soon cleared. 

Yawning, she looked next to her, expecting to see the alpha but did not. He was gone, maybe he was already ready for the school day or he was in the shower, the omega did not know, but what she did know was that she had to hurry up and get ready for school. 

Maddie yawned one more time, stretching while doing so before she finally dragged her body from the bed and headed to the bathroom. Once inside, she did not see Nate so she guessed that he might have been ready already. 

She did not understand why he had to wake up so early but she decided not to overthink it. After brushing her teeth and showering, she found something to wear and got ready. As she walked out of the room, her heart skipped a beat when she heard Vanessa’s voice in the distance.
