Chapter 225. Time Flies

The thought of the storm suddenly stopping when Maddie had blacked out caused a few thoughts to swirl in the omega’s head. She started to contemplate her father’s words about it all being her fault and about how the Moon goddess was upset with her. 

Maybe it could have been true, maybe that was why the storm had suddenly stopped when she blacked out. 

“It just stopped?” She asked, raising one of her brows. 

“Yeah, it did. Thankfully, no one died. But there are a lot of injured people spread out in hospitals around the town. Also, we might go into debt considering that we have so much to rebuild,” The alpha chuckled lowly but the omega could see the stress and sadness in his eyes. 

“I’m so sorry,” She replied in a breathy tone. “I’m so sorry, Nate.”
