Chapter 249. Spill the Beans

The guard who had the syringe closed the distance between him and Jacob, reaching for the guy’s arm and sticking the needle in it. As it poked its way into the guy’s skin, he winced and soon, the liquid was injected into his body. 

For a few seconds, it looked like it was not working. It looked like his body was too strong to be subdued by the serum. But of course, that was all just in his head. His head suddenly started to swing and it was like he was getting high or very tired.
