Chapter 253. Torn Between Loyalties

Nate was still on his feet, his heart was thumping in his chest not because of fear or nervousness, but because he was pissed. He could feel the adrenaline in his veins. “Can I see her though?” 

“That depends if she wants to be seen by you?” Damion shrugged. He stared at the alpha for a few seconds and then finally turned to one of his guards. “Try to get the omega here.” 

The guard nodded and then was on his way in no time. 

While all of that was happening, there was a small crowd around and they were all watching what was happening. It was easier since the hut had no walls. But they were not allowed to get too close. 

In the crowd, Vanessa watched and listened intently. She did not know at first if this was the Shadow Pack or whether Maddie was here but now that she knew, she did not even know what to do with that information.
