Chapter 15. Selena Appears

Alana opened the door as a servant informed her that a woman was looking for Leo. She immediately spotted a woman with long black hair, facing away from her.

"Who are you looking for?" Alana asked, causing the woman to finally turn towards her. Alana was momentarily silent and stunned, admiring the beautiful woman before her. After snapping out of her admiration, Alana blinked her eyes to normalize her gaze.

"Who are you?" Alana asked again, making the woman smile sweetly as she approached Alana and extended her hand.

"I'm Selena," the woman replied, causing Alana to pause for a moment, trying to recall where she had heard that name before. It dawned on her that Tante Rose had mentioned Selena before.

"So, what brings you to our house?" Alana inquired.
