Chapter 16. I’m Angry

Unlike previous nights, this time Alana slept apart from Leo. She chose the other side of the bed, turning her back to her husband. Leo sighed, observing Alana's unmoving back for the past hour. Leo knew Alana wasn't asleep yet, but she remained silent, not uttering a single word.

On the other hand, Leo should have felt relieved not to hear his wife's complaints. However, for some reason, it felt like something was missing when Alana chose to stay silent like this. Finally, Leo had to break the silence.
