Chapter 12. About Cedric

The sound of a roaring car engine could be heard as it drove, the black luxury car cutting through the streets, passing through the hustle and bustle of Portland towards an elite apartment complex.

The car belonged to a nationally renowned billionaire who was none other than Cedric Mc. Kinley. The car was driven by his assistant Bastian. Throughout the trip, they did not say a word. Bastian was so focused on driving that they arrived in front of an apartment that towered into the sky.

The car entered the parking lot in the basement. Bastian got out of the car first to open the door. Cedric got out, and the two walked towards an elevator not far away. Bastian pressed the button with the number twenty, which indicated the floor level they were going to.

The elevator sounded as the doors opened. Cedric got out of there; from behind, Bastian walked quickly ahead of Cedric because he would open the unit door for him.
