Chapter 13. Sam Black

Rustling leaves and breaking branches echoed as two wolves ran through the forest near the mountain's base, shattering the silence within the dark woods. While running, Cedric left pawprints on the wet ground, followed by Bastian.

They continued running until they approached a mountain. Promptly, they began climbing through a path known only to the werewolf nation. During the ascent, Cedric could still hear the howling of wolves echoing as if urging the Alpha to meet them.

Cedric reached a point near the mountain peak, where he paused and howled loudly, signifying a response from the Alpha. Cedric's gaze was sharp as he looked at two large twin trees towering towards the sky not far from him, and then he resumed his steps.

A moon sign on Cedric's forehead glowed as he approached the twin trees. Suddenly, a layer of magical glass appeared that werewolf leaders could only open.
