Chapter 26. Weird

Selena sat in the bathtub as she turned on the tap to calm her mind. The sound of splashing water combined with the vanilla scent of the soap she used filled the white bathroom. Selena put her head right under the shower so that the water could flow and hit her hot head. It was the best way to get rid of all kinds of shadows that appeared and disturbed her head, especially Cedric's shadow.

For some reason, there was a strange feeling during her conversation with the man, who seemed a little full of warmth. Ah no, more precisely, Selena felt that Cedric was weird or that she was complicated. Selena sighed tiredly.

While she was under the water, she did a lot of affirmations in her heart. Everything would be fine, everything would pass quickly, and she would get her freedom. But even as she focused, her mind was distracted by the reality that she would still be under the same roof as Cedric, a cold man who didn't care about Selena's awkwardness or anything else.
