Chapter 31. Cedric's Sudden Invitation

The blue sky gradually turned orange, indicating that the sun was slowly returning to its resting place and giving way to a cold night. Inside Cedric's penthouse, Selena filled the kitchen with the aroma of delicious cooking, accompanied by the sobbing sounds of a woman sitting alone in a corner.

Selena, wearing an oversized shirt with long flowing hair, sat gloomily in a chair at the dining table. Selena's tears flowed relentlessly, her eyes red and puffy, reflecting the long pent-up grief that had broken out all at once.

Cedric hadn't come out of the room yet; whatever he was doing, Selena didn't care. Selena tried to hold back the sobs so deep because they were not just sadness but a mixture of anger and regret.

Selena was angry with herself for making a decision that led to deep regret. Selena was angry because she couldn't resist taking out her anger on Daniel by going to the club.
