Winona POV

I didn't believe Beta David's words. I hope Zavier shakes his head and tells me not to listen to Beta's words. However, ten seconds passed, Zavier just looked at me without saying anything.

"Zavier, why didn't you answer me?" I held his hand. My voice trembled. Fear gripped my neck tightly.

I wouldn't have believed it if Zavier hadn't said it himself.

"Wait a minute, I found something strange." Beta David takes our attention again. He looked straight at me. "You already know that Alpha Zavier has met his mate? Your question to Zavier indicates that you already know."

I fearfully nodded. "I know. Zavier told me."

Beta was surprised. Then he looked at Zavier with one eyebrow raised. "Oh, I forgot, you said you and Winona went to Alpha Meddox's house because you forgot to attend Alpha Meddox and your mate's wedding, then you were shocked because your mate disappeared." Beta nodded.
