Niyol’s POV

The door of my room was suddenly flung open. Without looking up, I know the only person bold enough to do that would be my beta.

And I was right.

“How was it, Niyol? Did you continue from where you stopped last night?” Chester asked, grinning.

“Did you just invade my privacy to talk about my private life? Are you kidding me, Chester?” I asked, shaking my head.

“You can’t blame me for being curious. I… I was just being curious… that’s why I came over to your room immediately,” he said, avoiding my eyes.

“Really? You were curious? Alright, you can leave now. You must have satisfied your curiosity,” I said.

With just a glance at his face, I knew he was hiding something. We have been friends for a long time and I know his every expression.

He always looks flustered whenever he is trying to hide something from me. Others might not know, but being with him for years, I could pick it out without breaking a sweat.
