Chapter 31
Tony had a muderous look in his eyes.
"You did this; you sent the archer who killed my mate!"
Damien remained silent, watching him.
"Why, Damien?" Tony called him by his name for the first time, but I believe he was past caring what punishment would befall him. "Why did you kill her? I did all you asked; I went on my goddamed knees; I begged; and what did I get?"
Finally, Damien spoke up.
"Why do you think I did this?" He questioned silently, despite Tony's rage, and that only seemed to anger him, if not more.
"You captured her from my pack; you threatened her. What more evidence do I need? I knew you were angry at us—the fact that we liaised with the vampire prince, the fact you lost your mate because of us—but never did I think you could do such a thing. She was all I had."
"I did not kill your mate, nor did I give out the order."
