Sky's POV

“Alpha, yes. You will not be let down.” Uncle Morison puffs out his chest and nods enthusiastically.

I could tell he was excited about his new job and really wanted it, but I knew something was wrong when the little jerk’s expression matched his father’s exactly. I placed my hand on top of Uncle Morison’s and quietly counted to three.

“You’re right Morison, I will not be disappointed because Marcos here is going to be my Beta.” With a wide grin, the man I’d never seen before sits up in his chair and pats the Alpha on the back.

“What?” Uncle Morison deflates both physically and emotionally.

“I could make you two compete for the position, but that could get messy.
