Chapter 10

Sky's POV

When he looks back at me his eyes are normal and his expression is shocked. I don't let go of the front of his shirt that I am holding tightly in my hand. Kyle looks up at Ethan for a second, but my growl brings his eyes straight back to me. I can sense that he's sorry, but I can't seem to let go.

"Sky. I'm okay." He brings his hand up to the wrist that held his shirt and he lowers it.

My glare softens and I feel myself shrinking back to normal. "Are you

good?"

"Yeah."

I nod.

"I'm good."

Owen and Kyle go to take a step forward and I immediately jump in front of them, placing one hand on each of their chests to stop them.

"Remember what I said. The whole cupcake thing is not to be brought up with anyone." I stare at them hard, but not the same stare from last night or four seconds ago. "I will figure this out and tell you more when I know more. Understood?"
