Chapter 139. Invitation (2)

Avita and Lucilla both enjoyed a hot lunch after an hour of cooking it, and Lucilla assisted with the dishes. 

After the supper and dishes were over, the two fat pals sat in the living room, the TV on but not even looking at it. 

“Do you have any plans for the next few days?” Lucilla inquired, her gaze drawn to Avita, who was busy rubbing her stomach. 

“Not really,” Avita said, raising her head and smiling at Lucilla, “there isn’t much to do aside from the regular tasks. And now that I have an assistant to help me with the business, I can say that I am really liberated.” 

“That’s good then,” Lucilla said, her eyes brightening, “I’ve come to invite you to our home. However, it will most likely take a few days.” 

Hearing this, Avita cheered inside and thought to herself, ‘and here I was wondering when they were going to make a move. The sooner we do this, the sooner I can return home!’
