Chapter 40. Who Is She?

She was lying in bed, talking to her friends on WhatsApp, and it all felt like a dream. 

[ANNA: I'll be in Wakothanie this weekend. Are you available?] 

[AVI: I'll be there. You are aware that I am currently working from home.] 

[ANNA: I remember that. So, you're not planning on going back to work?] 

[AVI: Not for the time being. I'll try being my own boss first, but if it doesn't work out, I'll look for work.] 

[ANNA: Do you no longer visit the salon?] 

[AVI: Don't even begin. Nowadays, there are no customers. I might as well use my time online advertising my stuff and making some money.] 

[ANNA: We're talking about it. Set some aside for me. I'll come purchase money.] 

[AVI: That's fantastic. I'll save some pleasant things for you.] 

[ANNA: That's just right.] 

[BETH: Set mine aside. No, simply send it. I'd want to have those purple bed sheets.] 

[AVI: Sure thing, hun.
