Chapter 10. I Am Hungry

Amelia's POV

I opened my eyes and the white ceiling welcomed me instead of the yellow one of my tent.

I sat up immediately and my neck hurt. I think I had slept on it.

I massaged my neck and furrowed my brow before my eyes went wide. This room... Why am I here?... How did I get here?

I stood up quickly and went out of the room. I was rushing and I almost bumped into Mary who was walking down the hallway.

I steadied myself immediately as I was about to hit the gold railings of the house.

"Miss Amelia!", she called out immediately after she saw me with a smile on her face.

"Hi Mary", I am surprised I still remember her name. I smiled back anyway.

I saw her on Saturday and it's just Monday today and I am seeing her again? Seriously?

"How have you been?", she asked, still retaining her smile.

"Fine", I replied with a smile.
