Chapter 24. Fuck You!

Amelia's POV

I woke up and I feel so agitated. I looked at the alarm clock at the bedside table and my eyes went wide.

12:45am!

I can't believe I slept for that long. I gripped my hair tight before getting out of the bed.

Immediately, my feet touched the cold floor, my stomach rumbled. Great! I hope Mary left some food for me for dinner.

I went downstairs and I found the remaining food in the pot. I took a dish from the rack and served myself a meal quickly.

After I was done, I looked around in boredom. I had slept so early and near bedtime that now that it is bedtime, I don't feel like sleeping any longer.

I groaned before finding my way towards the couch facing the television in the sitting room.

I took my seat on it before stretching forward and I grabbed the television remote. I changed channels and finally, a movie. Not just a movie, a horror one I that. I beamed. Just that the movie had started like thirty minutes ago and I had m
