William's POV

I sat on the couch and took my head in my hands. Why did I do that anyways?

It's not like I care that she is angry but seriously, I can't help but feel bad after knowing what truly happened. Every sane man would but this is not actually my fault if you think about it. It's not like I knew what really caused her to leave her job before.

Trust me, I wouldn't have said all that I said. I am not a coward, you know.

Mary came into my view and I looked up at her.

"Dinner is ready, you should get Amelia", she said with a smile and I nodded positively.

"Okay, I will take a shower first", I said standing up and she nodded before leaving.

I got upstairs and I stood in front of that door for a long time before moving away swiftly. I don't think I would be able to call her for dinner today, Mary can just do it herself.
