Chapter 52. She Is Drunk!

Amelia's POV

Saturday morning

I walked away from my desk to talk with Manager Lee.

"Where is the restaurant we are going to this evening located?", I asked and she smiled.

"It's not far from the company. Just down the road", she replied and I nodded.

"Okay, thanks"

"Any time", she replied and I walked out of the cubicle after having to smile at Antonio who shifted his gaze from his computer just to look at me.

I went into William's office and told him about it, hoping he would just tell me how to get home.

"I would ask Scott to pick you up when you are done then", he replied, not looking up from his file.

"Oh okay, thank you", I replied, not wanting to argue with him about it.

I walked out of his office and looked back at him. He just has his head buried deep down into that paper.
